JOB OVERVIEW

The Social Media and Video Content Specialist will be responsible for creating, editing, and managing video content across our social media platforms. This role involves enhancing our online presence, increasing our follower base, and boosting engagement through high-quality and compelling content. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of social media trends and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing and Production:

Edit and produce high-quality video content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and video scripts.
Ensure all video content aligns with our brand guidelines and messaging.
Social Media Management:

Develop and implement social media strategies to increase followers, engagement, and brand awareness.
Manage and monitor all social media accounts, responding to comments and messages promptly.
Schedule and publish posts across all platforms, ensuring consistency and optimal timing.
Content Creation:

Create engaging and visually appealing social media posts, stories, and reels.
Work with graphic designers to develop complementary visual content.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and incorporate them into our content strategy.
Analytics and Reporting:

Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools.
Provide regular reports on follower growth, engagement rates, and other key metrics.
Use data insights to refine and improve content strategies.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a social media manager and video editor.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus.
Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (preferred).
At least 2-3 years of experience in social media management and video content creation.
