Hi! I am Charlotte, a Digital Marketing Consultant based in Connecticut, USA. I am seeking a Marketing Assistant to help manage and grow social media presence and content marketing strategies for my small business clients across different industries. These include local, service-based businesses, such as Residential Construction, Restaurant (Food/Dining), Catering & Café, and School Sports Fundraising!

This is a long-term, stable opportunity for a candidate who is skilled in social media content creation, copywriting, scheduling posts, and blog writing. You will work closely with me on a daily basis (a marketing consultant) to create, schedule, and publish high-quality, strategic content that aligns with each client’s brand, tone, and marketing goals.

Here is a breakdown of Tasks for the right Social Media Marketing Assistant:

???? Social Media Management (50% of the Role): Create & Maintain a Strategic Social Media Content Calendar for business profiles. Develop Engaging Social Media Posts using pre-existing brand assets (images, graphics, and video clips) while ensuring content aligns with each client’s brand voice.
Write Clear, Concise Captions with proper formatting, hashtags, and call-to-action statements.
Schedule and Publish Posts using platforms like Meta Business Suite, Later, Hopper and Hootsuite.
Ensure All Content is Approved Before Posting and maintain an organized content database.
???? Blog Writing & Content Marketing (30% of the Role): Draft Blog Outlines based on pre-approved content strategies using AI tools like ChatGPT as needed. Write & Edit Engaging Blog Posts tailored to each client’s industry (home design, sports fundraising, food & hospitality, etc.). Optimize Blog Content for SEO, ensuring it includes relevant keywords and proper formatting. Publish Final Blog Posts on Squarespace and Wix, after approval.
???? Additional Marketing Support (20% of the Role)
Assist in managing influencer collaborations and keeping track of content schedules.
Organize and maintain a content database for easy access and use.
Monitor social media engagement & trends and provide recommendations for improvement!
