Role Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is a Canva wizard, has a knack for compelling copywriting and content concepts, and thrives in managing online communities and influencer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
? Content Creation & Design
Create high-quality, engaging, and on-brand social media assets using Canva.
Develop visually compelling graphics, carousels, and other social media materials tailored for various platforms.
? Copywriting & Content Strategy
Write engaging, brand-aligned captions, headlines, and social media copy.
Craft compelling content that drives engagement, conversions, and community interaction.
Brainstorm and execute creative content ideas that align with the client’s brand identity and objectives.
? Social Media Management
Plan, schedule, and publish content across platforms
Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to improve engagement and reach.
Optimise content strategies based on analytics and trends.
? Community Engagement & Influencer Management
Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a strong online community.
Manage influencer collaborations, from outreach to execution, ensuring brand consistency and impact.
? Trend & Competitor Analysis
Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and viral content.
Research competitors and industry trends to ensure we remain innovative and ahead of the curve.
Requirements
? Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or similar role.
? Strong Canva skills – must be able to design high-quality, visually appealing graphics.
? Exceptional copywriting – able to craft engaging, persuasive, and on-brand content.
? Experience in community management – engaging audiences and building strong brand communities.
? Influencer management experience – sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating influencer partnerships.
? Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
? Ability to analyse data and optimise content based on performance.
? Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
? Bonus: Familiarity with scheduling tools like Later, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite.
