JOB OVERVIEW

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies that align with the organization's goals. This role includes creating engaging digital content using tools like Canva for graphic design and video editing software for multimedia content.

Expected Functions:
Content Creation:

Develop visually appealing graphics and visuals using Canva.
Produce engaging video content for various social media platforms.

Social Media Strategy:

Plan and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and community engagement.
Analyze trends in social media, determine the best platforms for outreach, and adapt strategies accordingly.
Community Management:

Monitor and respond to social media interactions in a timely manner.
Engage with followers, customers, and influencers to build relationships.
Analytics and Reporting:

Track and measure the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools.
Prepare reports that analyze campaign success and suggest improvements.
Brand Consistency:

Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice and aesthetic.
Develop a content calendar to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
Collaboration:

Work with marketing, PR, and other departments to align social media activities with broader organizational goals.
Coordinate with graphic designers and video editors when necessary.
Staying Updated:

Keep up with social media trends, changes in algorithms, and new tools or features that could enhance social media performance.

Skills Required:
Proficiency in Canva and video editing software (like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and their best practices.
Capable of analyzing data and making decisions based on metrics.
