JOB OVERVIEW

Are you a creative powerhouse who loves storytelling, social media, and connecting with audiences? I’m looking for a Social Media Content Creator to help promote my books, attract writing coaching clients, and collect love stories as part of my mission to spread love through everyday love stories.

This is a part-time, remote role where you’ll collaborate with another Virtual Assistant and work closely with me to bring fresh, engaging content to life! Since we work remotely, regular updates and open communication are key. I love knowing what you're working on and seeing ideas take shape. Role Overview:
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on creativity, enjoys engaging with an audience, and can manage multiple content streams.
Hours & Pay:
-15 hours per week
- $3 per hour
- Flexible schedule, but consistency is key!

Responsibilities:
- Create and post daily reels and static content that align with my brand voice and goals.
- Design and update visuals for my monthly newsletter and assist with light editing.
- Manage BookFunnel promotions—insert links & book covers into my newsletter monthly and create and schedule promo posts.
- Engage with my audience—responding to comments, fostering discussions, and building relationships.
- Edit and repurpose video content for multiple platforms.
- Maintain a social media calendar to plan and schedule content months in advance.
- Collaborate with another Virtual Assistant to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth execution of content and promotions.

Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about books (fantasy in particular), storytelling, and creative marketing.
- Skilled in video editing and content creation (CapCut, Canva, or similar tools).
- Familiar with social media best practices (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
- Detail-oriented and good at keeping track of multiple projects (BookFunnel promos, engagement, newsletter visuals, etc.).
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively to bring ideas to life.

Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience working with authors or in the publishing industry.
- Understand basic marketing and engagement strategies for creatives.
- Have a knack for crafting compelling captions and storytelling through content.

Interview Process:

As part of the interview process, shortlisted candidates will complete two creative tasks to:

Showcase their skills in alignment with my brand
Demonstrate their ability to follow instructions
Produce engaging content that fits the role
Communicate effectively if they have questions or need clarification

These tasks should take no more than a couple of hours to complete.

These tasks come directly from my content calendar to give candidates a real example of the type of work they’d be doing in this role. Only candidates selected to move forward will receive an email with instructions for the next step.
