Position Overview:

Up to Collect, a dynamic startup based in The Netherlands, is looking for a talented Shopify Website Developer to join our team. We are seeking someone with medium to advanced experience in Shopify development to help us optimize, enhance, and expand our online presence. This role is initially structured as a pay-by-assignment opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain our Shopify-based website.
• Implement responsive and visually appealing designs based on our brand guidelines.
• Optimize website performance, including speed, SEO, and mobile usability.
• Collaborate with designers and other team members to create and implement new features and functionalities.
• Integrate third-party apps and payment gateways as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any website or application issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Shopify development (including Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Strong understanding of Shopify's ecosystem and knowledge of Shopify themes and templates.
• Familiarity with Shopify Apps and API integrations.
• Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles to improve the overall user experience.
• Experience with SEO best practices for e-commerce websites.
• Advanced proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
• Experience working with limited-edition sneakers (e.g., Jordans, Nike, Yeezy) is a plus but not required.
