Shopify Web Developer (Freelance)

Overview:
Excel Blades, a leading brand in precision cutting tools, is looking for a Shopify Web Developer to enhance our e-commerce experience. This role involves optimizing our Shopify store, improving UX/UI, integrating apps, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for both B2B and D2C customers.

Responsibilities:
-Customize and refine our Shopify Plus store to align with Excel Blades' branding and customer experience goals.
-Develop and implement Shopify apps or integrations that enhance site functionality.
-Improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and conversion rates through strategic optimizations.
-Ensure seamless navigation and checkout experiences for both hobbyists, professionals, and businesses.
-Optimize product pages and collections for better discoverability and sales performance.
-Implement SEO best practices to enhance organic search visibility.
-Troubleshoot Shopify-related technical issues and provide scalable solutions.


Requirements:
-Proven experience with Shopify development (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
-Strong understanding of eCommerce best practices and CRO (conversion rate optimization).
-Experience with Shopify Plus and B2B wholesale features is a plus.
-Familiarity with Klaviyo or other marketing automation tools for email integration.
-Ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines.
-A keen eye for UI/UX improvements and technical performance optimization.
