Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Website Developer with expertise in WordPress, Elementor Pro, front-end development, and web performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. This is a full-time remote position requiring exceptional technical proficiency, teamwork, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. WordPress & Elementor Pro Development
Lead and manage website development projects from inception to completion.
Develop, customize, and optimize WordPress websites using Elementor Pro.
Deep understanding of WordPress core development (themes, plugins, hooks, actions, and filters).
Troubleshoot and optimize Elementor-based websites for performance and responsiveness.
Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure website functionality, security, and design integrity.

2. Front-End Development
Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, particularly for customizing Elementor layouts and animations.
Experience in modifying WordPress themes and creating child themes.
Knowledge of modern UI/UX principles for enhancing design aesthetics and usability.

3. WordPress Plugin Management & Development
Install, configure, and troubleshoot various WordPress plugins.
Implement SEO, caching, and optimization plugins (Rank Math, Yoast SEO, etc.).
Intermediate to advanced PHP skills for modifying functions, shortcodes, and plugin customization.

4. Website Hosting & Maintenance
Manage website hosting, migrations, and email hosting setup.
Work with cPanel and other hosting control panels to manage server environments.

5. SEO & Performance Optimization
Implement technical SEO best practices, including Schema markup and site structure optimization.
Optimize websites for Google Core Web Vitals, including load speed, interactivity, and visual stability.
Use SEO plugins and performance-enhancing tools to improve website rankings and speed.

6. Mobile Responsiveness & Cross-Browser Compatibility
Ensure websites function seamlessly across various devices and browsers.
Debug and optimize mobile performance using browser developer tools.
Implement lazy loading, image compression, and asset minification for speed improvements.

7. Marketing Performance & Conversion Tracking
Integrate and manage tracking systems, including Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and lead tracking tools.
Implement event tracking, goal conversions, and UTM parameters for paid ad tracking.

8. Security & Website Maintenance
Implement WordPress security best practices (firewalls, SSL, malware protection).
Configure automated backups and perform core/plugin updates without conflicts.
Ensure website security and reliability by mitigating potential vulnerabilities.

9. Project Management & Collaboration
Utilize ClickUp for project management, task tracking, and communication.
Follow and contribute to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Collaborate with content teams, designers, and marketing strategists to achieve business goals.

10. Problem-Solving & Debugging
Troubleshoot Elementor conflicts, plugin issues, and page load errors.
Use debugging tools like Chrome DevTools, Query Monitor, and WP Debug for issue resolution.
Work with staging environments and version control (Git) when needed.

Preferred (But Not Required) Skills:
Custom WordPress development (Advanced Custom Fields, custom post types).
Experience with API integrations for CRM, automation, and marketing tools.
Familiarity with landing page design and conversion optimization techniques.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in website development with a strong focus on WordPress and Elementor Pro.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (C2 Level).
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Technical Skills:
Languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, C, C++, Java, Upgrade to see actual info, VBA.
Applications: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, After Effects.
CMS/Platforms: WordPress, WooCommerce
Web Technologies: ReactJS, jQuery, AJAX.
Hosting & Servers: cPanel, website migration, email hosting.
Tracking & Analytics: Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, What Converts, Go High Level.

Work Details:
Full-time remote position (8 hours/day). More hours are available if required.

Strong internet and back-up internet required
Timezone: Australian AEST/ USA CST
Salary: $1,200/month ($6.82/hour).
Must be highly reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
