Senior Web/Technical Project Manager

Job Overview:
We are a small marketing agency aiming to establish a web development team to create client websites and develop internal web projects. We need a detail-oriented and results-driven Web/Technical Project Manager to oversee and coordinate these projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX design, web development technologies, and project management, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, manage, and deliver web and technology projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Oversee the full project development process including ideation, creative/UX design, development specifications, and managing development, prototyping, QA testing, and roll out.
• Help recruit and manage our development team including designers, developers, QA testers, and other team members.
• Manage non-technical internal and client related projects as needed.
• Collaborate with team and clients to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and detailed project plans
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions.
• Ensure technical requirements are documented and executed.
• Foster strong client/stakeholder relationships and communicate project status.
• Conduct project reviews and post-project evaluations.
• Create deadlines and action items for team members.
• Lead project team meetings and write status reports.
• Work with team members to resolve issues.
• Host project meetings and present projects to stakeholders.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• 5+ years of experience as a Web/Technical Project Manager.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other relevant certifications with strong understanding of SDLC and project management methodologies.
• Strong understanding of programming languages (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node, Python, APIs).
• Knowledge of cloud-based hosting requirements (AWS).
• Strong UX/web design knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, management, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Extremely detail oriented and organized. Must be able to multi-task handling multiple assignments independently and able to follow-up without direction.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and address challenges.
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed (during crunch times!) per day or per week, including weekends, to meet business needs.
• An enthusiastic self-starter with a sense of humor, honesty and a strong work ethic.
• A modern computer and reliable Internet connectivity with decent speeds.
