Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and execution of user-centered web interfaces, from concept to final design.
• Masterfully utilize Figma to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective designs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on designs based on feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, particularly within the Figma ecosystem.
• Present design concepts and rationale to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior designers (if applicable).
• Contribute to the overall creative direction of the company.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and expertise in Figma.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, component libraries, and collaboration features. Be prepared to share specific examples of your Figma work.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies (understanding of JavaScript is a plus).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality designs.
• Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
• A positive and collaborative attitude.
Bonus Points:
Experience with other design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience designing for different platforms (desktop, mobile, tablet).
Contributions to open-source design projects.
