Are you a motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional? We are seeking a full-time Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic offshore team. If you have a passion for accounting and taxation, along with a proactive attitude, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert financial services to our diverse clientele. You will be responsible for a range of accounting and taxation tasks, ensuring high-quality outcomes and compliance with Australian taxation laws.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare Financial Statements and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, companies, trusts, and SMSFs, including Depreciation Schedules.

- Assist in the preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Installment Activity Statements (IAS).

- Prepare Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns.

- Address taxation issues, including Division 7A and Capital Gains Tax (CGT).

- Support clients with MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.

- Prepare Annual Review Reports for the Director.

- Provide general accounting and taxation advice to clients.

- Stay updated on relevant taxation legislation and rulings.

- Conduct research to accurately interpret taxation regulations for client needs.

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

- Ensure all work is error-free, professionally presented, and compliant with internal procedures.

- Maintain accurate records and file notes, updating Job Manager daily.

Qualifications:


- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Australian taxation.

- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or equivalent (Accounting Major).

- Proficiency in Xero Tax Software and Xero Practice Manager.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving abilities.

- Highly proactive with the ability to research and implement solutions.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

-Available to work 6 AM- 3 PM Philippine time
