Senior Freelance Graphic Designer

We seek a skilled senior-level graphic designer to support our team on a long-term, ongoing, month-to-month basis.

This designer must have strong technical design skills and a keen eye for detail. They must also be able to self-manage their projects and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.

Skills Needed:
-High level of skill with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
-Prepress knowledge and experience (converting colors for print, file packaging, etc)
-Should be able to correct minor errors, such as inconsistent capitalization in client-delivered content
-Strong attention to details
-Able to follow directions
-Creative problem solver
-Good typography (fixes rag and kerns appropriately)
-Real-world client experience
-Knows their limits and knows when to push them


Bonus Skills (If you can do any of these things, you are a cut above):
-WordPress skills (particularly with DIVI)
-Content writing
-Illustration capabilities

Typical Projects:
This shortlist contains samples of typical projects that you will help design and produce.
-Logo Design

-Website Mockups in Photoshop
-laying out print brochures
-Updating or designing a print ad design
-Creating a multipage brochure for a company
-Designing business cards
-Website banner graphics



How We Work:
-We use Trello to manage projects
-Projects are generally assigned during the first half of the week
-Questions about a project should be asked when it is assigned (within a day or two)
-Working files should always be kept on our cloud drive
-Project time will be tracked in our time tracking software (or) you will provide a time report at the end of the week
-You will be given brand assets and any working files as appropriate, as well as access to stock images and graphics


Payments:
-This position pays $10-15 USD per hour
