Senior Email & SMS Marketing Specialist - Ecommerce

We operate successful ecommerce clothing brands with plans to expand into additional niches. We're looking for a talented email and SMS marketing specialist to help us build effective customer communication strategies from the ground up. This is an opportunity to create and optimize revenue-generating email flows and SMS campaigns for growing brands.

3. Position Overview
We're seeking a senior-level Email & SMS Marketing Specialist to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive email marketing and SMS programs for our ecommerce clothing brands. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Klaviyo email marketing and Postscript SMS platforms. This is a part-time remote position.

4. Key Responsibilities
- Design and build email marketing flows and campaigns from scratch using Klaviyo, following brand guidelines and discount structure

- Develop and implement 5 core email flows as immediate priorities:
Welcome series
Abandoned checkout flow
Abandoned cart flow
Abandoned browse flow
Post-purchase flow

- Create and send at least 3 email campaigns per week (5-7 emails weekly during peak months)
- Submit email campaign content plans every Friday for the following week's approval
- Create and manage SMS marketing programs using Postscript that align with email initiatives
- Develop story-driven, engaging copy and creative content for both email and SMS (not just promotional content)
Use Claude AI (account provided) for content creation and copywriting
- Segment audiences effectively to maximize engagement and conversion rates
- Implement A/B testing strategies to optimize campaign performance
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (click rates, order rates)
- Provide monthly performance reports for Email/SMS campaigns and flows with suggested improvements
- Manage multiple brands simultaneously
- Stay updated on email marketing and SMS best practices, trends, and compliance regulations

5. Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing and SMS marketing for ecommerce
- Proven expertise with Klaviyo, including building automated flows, segmentation, and analytics
- Experience with Postscript SMS marketing platform setup and management
- Strong copywriting and content creation abilities specifically for email and SMS channels
- Knowledge of ecommerce customer journeys and purchase behaviors
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions

6. Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with clothing/fashion ecommerce brands
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience with design tools
- Experience with email HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with other marketing automation platforms

7. Working Hours
- This is a part-time position. During the initial setup phase, we require 6-8 working hours per day to quickly establish email flows (our priority). After the initial setup, hours will be adjusted based on ongoing needs.
