Senior Business Analyst Trainer

About the Role:

HTD Talent is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Business Analyst Trainer to guide junior Business Analyst (BA) learners through a structured training program designed to prepare them for client interviews and successful placements. This is a 6-8 week contract role where your expertise in Jira, Agile methodologies, ALM testing tools, SDLC, and client collaboration will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of business analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver interactive, project-based training sessions for junior BA learners, focusing on:
- Jira: Effective use for project tracking, backlog management, and sprint planning.
- Agile Methodologies: Principles, ceremonies, and best practices.
- Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Testing Tools: Real-world application and testing strategies.
- SDLC: Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Provide mentorship and personalized feedback to learners to enhance their technical and client-facing skills.
- Prepare learners for client interviews by conducting mock interviews and role-playing real-world scenarios.
- Offer insights on managing client expectations, stakeholder communication, and fostering collaboration.
- Collaborate with HTD Talent's program coordinators to tailor training materials and sessions to meet client-specific requirements.
- Maintain a supportive and engaging learning environment to encourage growth and confidence among participants.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Agile methodologies, ALM tools, and SDLC processes.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification (required).
- Proven experience mentoring or training junior professionals, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Financial services industry experience.
- Proficiency with Figma or similar wireframing and prototyping tools.
