We are seeking a **skilled and highly organized Architect** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for quickly and efficiently drafting **concept floor plans, facade renderings, interior renderings, and dollhouse views**. These visual assets will be used primarily for **sales pitches**, meaning they need to be **fast and functional, rather than technically perfect**.

### **Your Role & Responsibilities**

? **Draft Conceptual Designs & Renderings Quickly & Efficiently**
- Develop **concept floor plans**, **exterior façade renderings**, **interior visualizations**, and **dollhouse views** to support sales efforts.
- Create **high-quality but efficient** drafts that clearly communicate design intent without requiring excessive refinement.
- Maintain a **rapid turnaround time** for deliverables, ensuring sales and marketing teams have timely assets.

? Perform Quantity Takeoffs & Assist with Cost Estimation
- Extract material and labor quantities from designs to support cost estimation efforts.
- Work closely with the construction and sales teams to provide accurate preliminary cost estimates.
- Assist in refining pricing models by ensuring that designs reflect accurate and feasible material quantities.

? **Communicate Directly with Customers**
- Engage with clients to understand their **design preferences, functional needs, and aesthetic goals**.
- Explain design concepts clearly and concisely, helping customers visualize their future ADU.
- Exhibit a **polished, structured, clear, and transparent communication style** that builds trust and confidence.

? **Work Cross-Functionally Across Teams**
- Collaborate with **sales representatives** to develop floor plans and renderings tailored to customer preferences.
- Engage with **construction project managers** to ensure designs align with **practical feasibility and building constraints**.
- Provide input on **design standardization efforts** to improve efficiency and reduce repetitive work.

? **Manage Documents & Files with Precision**
- Maintain a **highly organized** digital file system for architectural plans and renderings.
- Ensure version control, accurate documentation, and seamless handoff between departments.
- Keep detailed records of client requests, modifications, and final design iterations.

? **Balance Speed & Quality**
- Prioritize **efficiency over perfection**—ensuring designs are functional, visually compelling, and **quickly executable**.
- Continuously improve workflows to **streamline drafting, file management, and collaboration**.

### **What You Bring to the Table**

? **Technical Proficiency in Architectural Drafting & Visualization**
- **Proficiency in architectural drafting software** such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Experience creating **floor plans, 3D renderings, and presentation-ready visuals**.
- Ability to perform quantity takeoffs and contribute to cost estimation.

? **Exceptional Communication & Client Engagement Skills**
- Ability to **confidently and clearly communicate** with customers, helping them understand design choices.
- Strong interpersonal skills to **collaborate seamlessly** with sales and construction teams.

? **Strong Organizational & File Management Skills**
- Ability to keep track of **multiple projects simultaneously** with structured documentation.
- Experience maintaining **well-organized digital archives** for easy retrieval and collaboration.

? **Ability to Work Independently with a Sense of Urgency**
- **Proactive, self-driven, and able to meet tight deadlines** without micromanagement.
- Comfortable **making decisions quickly** and adjusting designs based on immediate feedback.

? **Experience in Residential Construction or Tiny Homes (Preferred)**
- Familiarity with **building codes, zoning regulations, and ADU-specific design considerations** is a plus.
- Knowledge of cost estimation methods and material pricing in residential construction.
