Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to manage client financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial guidance. This role requires a strong accounting background, attention to detail, and experience with cloud-based accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities
Perform monthly account reconciliations and bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
Oversee intercompany transactions and multi-entity accounting structures.
Handle payroll processing and tax filings through Gusto.
Support sales and use tax reporting, working with external service providers as needed.
Assist with corporate legal entity management, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Provide CFO-level strategic support, including financial planning, budgeting, and document review.
Lead risk management efforts, including state and federal compliance and insurance tracking.
Oversee treasury management, optimizing cash flow and banking relationships.
Support tax strategy and reporting in collaboration with tax advisors.
Manage capital table reporting and ensure accurate equity tracking.
Prepare custom financial reports as needed by clients.

Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a client-facing role or outsourced accounting firm.
Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (certification is a plus).
Experience using Ramp for expense management and Gusto for payroll processing.
Proficiency in GAAP accounting principles and multi-entity consolidations.
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
Knowledge of sales tax and corporate tax reporting processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required.
Experience working in a high-growth startup or tech company.
Background in e-commerce or SaaS accounting.
Exposure to financial modeling and forecasting.
