Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Management:
Maintain and update accounting records across all divisions.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Conduct regular bank and account reconciliations.
QuickBooks Expertise:
Utilize QuickBooks for accurate financial record-keeping.
Manage QuickBooks Bill Pay for timely vendor payments.
Payroll Administration:
Process payroll using Paychex, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Handle employee reimbursements and related payroll tasks.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Prepare financial statements and management reports.
Perform financial analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
Offer recommendations to improve financial performance across divisions.
Tax Preparation:
Prepare and file company tax returns, including income tax, franchise tax, and sales tax.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations across all applicable jurisdictions.
Manage tax schedules and deadlines to avoid penalties.
Provide strategic tax planning and recommendations to optimize the company's tax position.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on healthcare sectors being advantageous.
Experience in tax preparation, including income tax, franchise tax, and sales tax.
Technical Proficiency:
Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks.
Experience with QuickBooks Bill Pay and Paychex payroll systems.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple tasks.
Compensation: The salary for this position is competitive and will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. According to industry data, experienced accountants in the Philippines can expect salaries ranging from approximately $800 to $1,300 USD per month.
