Job Title: Salesforce (Marketing Cloud) Administrator
Job Summary: The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator will support the company’s strategic marketing initiatives by managing and optimizing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. This role focuses on data integrations, user management, segmentation, automation, and reporting within Marketing Cloud or Pardot. The Administrator will collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to ensure that Marketing Cloud solutions align with business objectives and that integration with Salesforce CRM is seamless.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management and Reporting:
Ensure data quality and integrity within Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, or Pardot.
Pull, analyze, and interpret data from Marketing Cloud or Pardot to generate insights for the marketing team.
Build and maintain reports and dashboards to track campaign performance, engagement, and CRM data.
Basic knowledge of data analysis tools and Excel functions (e.g., v-lookup) is helpful.
Collaborate across functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Events.
Process Automation and Improvement:
Leverage Marketing Cloud or Pardot features to automate and improve marketing processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
Familiarity with programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform (e.g., Flows) is beneficial.
Design, optimize, and build Salesforce solutions to streamline business processes.
User Management:
Manage user roles and permissions within Marketing Cloud to ensure proper access controls.
Secure Salesforce to ensure users have role-appropriate access to data.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Customization & Development:
Customize Salesforce to fit organizational processes, including creating custom objects and fields.
Develop and maintain
Monitor Salesforce updates to ensure optimal performance.
Data Management:
Import and export data as required, maintaining data integrity.
Work closely with marketing to ensure accurate data integration and reporting for marketing insights.
Training & Support:
Train tea
Troubleshoot and resolve user issues within the platform.
Salesforce Integrations:
Build and manage integrations between Salesforce and other platforms (e.g., ClickData, Klaviyo, SalesRobot, Zapier).
Experience with Marketing Cloud or Pardot integrations with Salesforce is an advantage.
Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pardot is preferred but not required.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator or Marketing Cloud
Familiarity with the Salesforce Lightning platform, Flows, and basic APIs is helpful.
Understanding of data management tools (e.g., Data Loader) is beneficial.
Knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is an advantage.
Personal Attributes:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Good communication skills for training and technical documentation.
Proactive in staying updated on new Marketing Cloud features and best practices.
Note: Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pardot is beneficial, but we welcome candidates who are willing to learn and grow in the role.
For candidates without direct Marketing Cloud experience:
Candidates without Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification or hands-on experience may still be considered, but they must be willing to complete a Marketing Cloud certification course within their first 90 days of employment.
Successfully passing this course will be a condition of continued employment to ensure readiness for the role.
