Job Description:
As a Salesforce Developer/Administrator, you will be responsible for the ongoing development, administration, and optimization of our Salesforce platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and implement custom solutions, and ensure our Salesforce environment supports our business objectives. Your role will include managing system integrations, automating processes, and providing technical support to end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Development:
o Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies.
o Create and maintain custom objects, workflows, validation rules, triggers, and dashboards.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
Salesforce Administration:
o Manage day-to-day Salesforce administration tasks, including user management, security settings, data backups, and system maintenance.
o Customize and configure Sales and Service Cloud to meet business needs, including setting up reports, dashboards, and automated processes.
o Ensure data integrity and perform regular data hygiene tasks, such as deduplication and data cleansing.
o Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to Salesforce functionality and performance.
o Conduct training sessions and create documentation to empower users and promote best practices in Salesforce usage.
o Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements and process optimization.
System Integration:
o Previous experience in designing and implement integrations between Salesforce and other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
o Experience in REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party applications to enable system integrations.
o Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working closely with IT and external vendors as needed.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
o 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer/Administrator.
o Proven experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
o Strong understanding of Salesforce platform features, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and declarative tools.
o Experience with integrating Salesforce with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Salesforce development and customization (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning).
o Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and access management.
o Experience with Salesforce integrations and data migration.
Analytical Skills:
o Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and propose effective solutions.
o Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Communication Skills:
o Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
o Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and clearly communicate progress and challenges.
Education and Certifications:
• Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification (required).
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certification (preferred).
• Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant Certification (preferred).
