Position Overview:
The Sales Manager for VA+ is responsible for overseeing and driving the sales team's performance, ensuring the retention of existing clients, discovering new opportunities, and supporting business growth through strategic calls and upselling. This role requires strong leadership skills, collaboration with various departments, and the ability to meet sales targets through active pipeline management, team huddles, and forecasting. The Sales Manager will also collaborate closely with operations and marketing teams to align sales strategies with business expansion goals.
Key Responsibilities:
-Discovery, Retention, Escalation, Check-ins, & Strategy Calls (UPSELL):
-Conduct regular discovery and strategy calls with clients to identify potential upsell opportunities.
-Monitor and ensure client satisfaction, providing escalation support when needed to resolve issues.
-Conduct regular check-ins to maintain relationships and assess future needs for retention.
-Follow-up Calls for PTP Leads:
-Engage with potential leads who have indicated interest (PTP leads) to follow up, nurture, and convert into clients.
-Maintain consistent communication with prospects to guide them through the sales process.
Bi-weekly Sales Meeting:
-Facilitate bi-weekly sales meetings, ensuring all tea
-Lead discussions on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
-Lead daily or weekly team huddles to review sales progress, discuss blockers, and realign priorities.
-Conduct performance reviews to ensure that the sales team is meeting goals and adhering to best practices.
Pipeline Cleanup & Sales Tracker & Forecasting:
-Manage and maintain a clean sales pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking of all leads and opportunities.
-Utilize sales tracker tools to forecast sales performance and provide reports on sales metrics and future projections.
-Attend regular operations meetings with Ms. Dee to discuss ongoing sales initiatives, operational challenges, and cross--departmental collaboration.
-Ensure alignment between sales and operations for smooth execution of client projects and services.
Qualifications:
-Proven 3-5 years of experience in sales management or a similar leadership role, preferably within a virtual assistant or business solutions company.
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
-Familiarity with sales pipeline management, forecasting, and tracking.
-Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
