JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team and help build our outbound sales process from the ground up. This is a key role where you'll work directly with leadership to establish and optimize our outbound sales strategy while also occasionally providing product support to our customers and managing the occasional inbound lead.

We primarily work in the in-person events industry, and that is the main focus, however we have other products that can and will be focused on as time goes on.

We are NOT looking for someone who can spray and pray emails to thousands of prospects, instead we are looking for someone who takes their time and researches the appropriate people for very targeted outreach.

Core Responsibilities
- Design and execute email-based outbound sales campaigns using modern sales tools (Apollo, ListKit, Smartlead, Pipedrive, etc.)
- Research and identify potential clients, creating targeted prospect lists
- Craft compelling email sequences and variations to engage prospects
- Manage leads in our CRM (Pipedrive)
- Track your performance and manage your related KPIs
- Schedule and secure qualified meetings with potential clients
- Provide chat-based customer support and sales as part of our team's shared responsibility
- Learn our product thoroughly to effectively communicate its value to prospects
- Collaborate closely with leadership to develop and refine our outbound sales process

Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience with B2B outbound email sales
- Proficiency with sales engagement platforms and prospecting tools
- Strong writing skills in English for crafting effective email sequences
- Experience researching companies and identifying decision-makers
- Excellent English written communication skills for chat-based customer support
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
- Comfortable with experimentation and process optimization
- Comfortable using sales tools like Apollo, ListKit, Smartlead, Pipedrive, ChatGPT, and Excel/Google Sheets
- Previous experience in a similar role

Work Schedule
- Preferred Hours: 9 AM - 6 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday
- Required overlap with US time zones
- This is a long-term role
- You are expected to exclusively work for us.

Compensation
- Competitive fixed weekly salary
- Commissions for qualified booked meetings
- Additional Bonus Commissions for closed deals
- PTO after 90-day probationary period
- 10 Philippine holidays off/year, and end of year 2 week company wide paid vacation
