WHAT JOB DO WE OFFER?
A new position of SKU Performance Specialist who optimizes products on the Amazon platform for increased sessions, conversions, revenue, and profit. We need someone who can just take care of all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks without running back to Susie every 5 minutes. You know - creating and analyzing data on individual products and creating recommended action plans. Someone who will be able to make the process run more efficiently and smoothly: with less time and effort. Someone who is passionate about data analysis, performance KPIs and competitor market research.
This position is fully remote and is part-time but could be full-time if you have other skills to add to the business growth. Work hours are in your time zone and could be started right away.
We aren’t looking for a VA who is just waiting for the next task to be given to him/her. We need a specialist who will manage the process from the strategic and operational point of view after the onboarding period.
ROLE
The SKU Performance Specialist optimizes products on the Amazon platform for increased sessions, conversions, revenue, and profit.
The role is greatly influenced by creating and analyzing data on individual products. The SPS should be able to read, understand, and create action plans based on the various reporting systems created.
This role will work closely with creatives to provide copy and imagery needed to boost the KPI’s for each product listing. Once a product is launched it is the SPS role to ensure it remains profitable, can increase profits, or d
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Set the KPI’s for traffic, sales, and profit per product.
-Create a dashboard that allows any member of the team to quickly analyze whether a product is performing poorly, average, or great.
-Analyze the Daily Sales Tracker, 7 day trend, GAP Analysis, Keyword Rank Tracker, Brand Analytics, Product Opportunity Explorer and any other tools/datasets related to the performance of products live on the Amazon platform.
-Create clear and achievable action plans for increasing revenue and profit per SKU based on the data observed.
-Intimately understand the performance goals of each product
-Maintain a dashboard/scorecard for all products live on the Amazon platform that clearly outlines the success or failure of a product
-Work closely with the PPC Manager during product launches and provide them with the necessary data needed to make optimal changes to the PPC Strategy
-Determine when a product should be discontinued and that capital be reinvested into other products
-Update products on Amazon via flat file and/or the Edit Inventory page with the necessary changes to boost SKU performance
-Liaise with the Brand Management team to deliver potential action plans for the upcoming week/month/quarter.
-Create design briefs for listing copy that is best fit for the product based upon your research of other successful products.

-Maintain internal processes/SOPs/systems that can be duplicated when additional SKU Optimization Specialists are needed

RESULTS
-Every SKU has set targets for daily sessions, CVR, sales, revenue, ad spend, and profit
-Systems are in place to solve downward trends in SKU performance
-Various dashboards containing SKU metrics are maintained with elaborate notes that can be used as guiding points for future product launches/problem resolution
-All products exceed their minimum profitability standard
-All products are evaluated to determine if revenue and profit can be increased
-Split tests are always running with the intent to boost revenue and profit
-Deals and promotions and tested, analyzed for optimum impact on revenue, CM3 and rank.
-Product launches are routine and the right data is delivered to the PPC Manager so that products are launched as fast as possible
REQUIREMENTS
-Must be detail oriented and analytical with proven performance marketing/ conversion rate optimization (CRO) experience and results.
-A keen understanding of all data points pertaining to SKU performance and how to determine what actions can be taken to improve those metrics
-Highly organized
-Ability to create excel reports/templates/pivot tables
-Excellent proficiency in English (Both spoken and written).
-Ability to plan and execute strategies independently that align with the -organization’s goals and objectives.
-Proficiency in Asana, Slack, Excel, Google, Office, Loom.
