SEO/Website Developer

We are seeking a skilled SEO/Website Developer to enhance our website's visibility and attract significant attention online. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both on-page and off-page SEO, including local SEO strategies and content creation for blogs. Additionally, this role requires strong web development skills to make necessary changes and improvements to our website. Our business is run almost entirely online, and we work across the United States, mainly B2B. Hours for this role are flexible, about 4 hours a day of work.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement effective SEO strategies that include keyword research, link building, and content optimization.
-Regularly update our website with fresh and relevant content in general and specifically on our blog in collaboration with our content team.
-Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using Google Analytics and other tools to report on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects.
-Manage and improve local SEO by optimizing our website and its content for our specific geographic area.
-Make technical changes to the website’s architecture, enhancing its usability and ensuring it is mobile-friendly.
-Conduct competitive analysis and stay updated with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends.
-Optimize website performance by ensuring fast load times and optimal site performance through various optimization techniques.
-Implement advanced analytics by setting up and managing advanced analytics to track user behavior and site performance.
-Ensure the website is intuitive, easy to navigate, and provides a seamless user experience across all devices.
-Create custom features or tools that enhance user engagement and business operations.
- Implement robust security measures to protect the website from cyber threats.
-Attend weekly meetings to discuss progress and strategies.
-Provide proactive recommendations to boost our website’s visibility and traffic.

Qualifications:
-Prior experience in SEO and web development.
-Strong understanding of current SEO practices and tools.
-Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms like WordPress.
-Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
-Strong command of English, with excellent communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and make well-informed decisions.
-Experience with performance optimization techniques.
-Knowledge of advanced analytics tools and techniques.
-Familiarity with UX principles and best practices.
-Understanding of website security best practices.
