SEO and Web Developer

We’re on a mission to lead the market in Edmonton, Alberta, and expand into 30+ locations. To make that happen, we need an experienced SEO and Web Developer to revamp our website and create high-performing landing pages for each location. You'll also help launch a new Equipment Detailing and Restoration service with a dedicated landing page to attract and convert customers.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll have ownership of the website overhaul, SEO strategy, and local page creation.

What You’ll Do
Website Revamp
Redesign our current website to improve speed, usability, and functionality.
Ensure it’s mobile-friendly and optimized for all devices.
Set up a CMS (e.g., WordPress) for easy updates and scalability.

SEO Optimization
Perform an SEO audit to fix technical issues and improve search rankings.
Create and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to dominate local search in Edmonton and expand to 30+ locations.
Research location-specific keywords to target for each new landing page.
Optimize site structure, metadata, and on-page elements for maximum search visibility.

Location-Specific Landing Pages
Build or revamp 30+ landing pages, each tailored to a specific location.
Ensure each page is optimized for local search terms and provides a great user experience.
Track and analyze performance metrics to continually improve rankings and conversions.

Equipment Detailing and Restoration Service
Create a dedicated landing page for this new service, optimized for search engines and designed to drive leads.

Collaboration and Strategy
Work closely with our team to align the website and landing pages with our goals and branding.
Propose creative solutions to boost user engagement and drive conversions.
Train our team on basic SEO practices to maintain long-term performance.

What You Need
Experience: 3+ years in web development and SEO, with a strong portfolio of work, especially in creating local landing pages.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms like WordPress.
Expertise in SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
Understanding of local SEO best practices and location-based keyword optimization.
Experience optimizing website speed, usability, and mobile responsiveness.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and improve site performance.
Mindset: Self-driven, results-oriented, and detail-focused.
