Jim’s Group, Australia’s largest franchising family with more than 52 divisions is looking for a SEO Specialist, who is inclined towards the on-page, technical part, and off page activities. You will be tasked with the fun and challenging role of implementing SEO tasks.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Using Keyword research tools to research and select appropriate keyword phrases that are relevant to the business, audience, industry, location(s) being targeted, and have an acceptable amount of search volume/competition volume.
- Execute Search Engine Optimization activities for the website which includes technical SEO Elements, on page activities and off page activities.
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve organic rankings.
- Conduct outreach campaigns to secure guest posts, backlinks, and partnerships.
- Identify high-authority websites, blogs, and directories for link acquisition.
- Create and pitch engaging content for link-building purposes.
- Monitor backlink performance and track SEO improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with Google’s algorithm changes and SEO best practices
- Onsite SEO: auditing, editing fields in line with SEO best practices, such title tags, meta description tags, image alt tags, website copy, and heading tags.
- Working Knowledge of optimizing CMS-based websites preferably WordPress websites. - Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console etc.). - Develop and execute link building strategies and activities to improve our organic rankings and traffic. - Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush).
- Minimum 2 years of SEO experience required
- Content writing experience is preferred.
- Keeping up to date with the latest SEO information, techniques, and tools.
