Distinctive Roofing is a leading roofing company committed to quality craftsmanship, outstanding customer service, and innovative digital marketing. We are looking for a SEO Specialist & Content Writer to help improve our online presence, drive traffic, and generate leads through high-quality, optimized content.

>> Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a results-driven SEO expert with a strong background in content writing and digital marketing. You will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, and creating engaging blog posts and marketing copy.

**Additionally, the ideal candidate should relieve our marketing team by taking ownership of projects, applying critical thinking, and working independently without requiring step-by-step instructions or constant supervision.**

>> What You’ll Do:
- Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
- Write high-quality, SEO-optimized content, including blog posts, website copy, landing pages, and social media captions.
- Optimize website structure, metadata, and content for higher search rankings.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, keyword rankings, and performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
- Stay updated with SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Research industry-related topics and create compelling, informative, and engaging content for our audience.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals.
- Optimize and manage Google My Business (GMB) and local SEO efforts.
- Collaborate with web developers to improve site speed, UX, and technical SEO.

>> Who We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in SEO and content writing.
- Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a strong command of grammar and style.
- Experience with on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
- Ability to analyze data, track performance, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with WordPress platforms.
- Strong understanding of local SEO and Google My Business optimization.
- Knowledge of basic HTML, schema markup, and site structure (a plus).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently without step-by-step instructions.
