SEO Link Building Specialist (Backlink Builder)

What do the job look like:

- Build high quality backlinks via manual outreach
- Build Guest Post backlinks
- Build Local Citations
- Build Niche Edits
- Drop links in clever ways on UGC websites (Reddit, Quora, Blogs, Forums, etc)
- Understand what a good link is
- Use tools such as Snovio & Hunter to prospect
- Use industry standard tools such as Ahrefs
- Work in Google Sheets and Notion
- Create content necessary for links
- Good understanding of correct anchor text usage
- Use AI to assist in optimisation and analysis
- Perform internal linking & external linking on the pages
- Keyword research
- Finding keyword and content opportunities
- Documenting all completed work in a spreadsheet


Key Responsibilities:
As our SEO Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in driving our clients’ online success. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Managing and optimizing SEO link building campaigns for maximum impact.
- Comfortable using AI and the latest technology when doing SEO in conjunction with SEO Tools
- Developing and executing effective SEO strategies tailored to client goals.
- Providing excellent client services, maintaining strong relationships.
- Collaborating on projects to achieve strategic growth for the agency and its clients.
- Strengthening relationships internally and externally to foster long-term partnerships.
- Understand what a good link is
- Use tools such as Snovio & Hunter to prospect
- Use industry standard tools such as Ahrefs
- Work in Google Sheets and Notion
- Good understanding of correct anchor text usage
- Use AI to assist in optimisation and analysis

The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for a driven individual with:

Experience: 1.5–2+ years of hands-on SEO experience minimum.
- Must have grown a website in organic traffic and keyword rankings with the links they have built
- Understand which metrics to target
- Can show examples of high quality links built in the past
- Understand several different strategies that can be used
- Resilience: Tenacious, quick on your feet, and comfortable with challenges.
- Communication Skills: Strong and clear English language skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You’ll use these across emails, phone calls, and video calls.

Tools You’ll Use
You should be comfortable working with tools such as:


- Ahrefs
- ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini
- snov.io or hunter.io
- Notion
- Linkedin / Zoominfo
- Google Sheets/Docs/Slides

Bonus if you understand:

- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics
- Google Looker Studio
- Screaming Frog
- Neuronwriter or content optimisation tools
- All other facets of SEO (e.g. Local, national, technical, content, etc)

Requirements:

- Location: Based in the Philippines, working remotely.
- Availability: Comfortable working in alignment with Australian business hours AEDT Time (Starting approx a few hours early around 7am and finishing early)
- Language Proficiency: Strong English skills are non-negotiable.
- Time Tracking: Yes to manage time spent on various clients campaigns
