Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility, increase website traffic, and drive quality leads. You will work closely with the content, web development, and digital marketing teams to ensure all digital assets are optimized for maximum performance.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Page SEO
Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies across existing and new content.
Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, URLs, and internal linking structure.
Perform content audits and make recommendations for optimization.
Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in content creation.
Ensure websites meet technical SEO requirements (e.g., mobile-friendliness, page speed, structured data).
Off-Page SEO
Develop and execute link-building strategies.
Conduct backlink audits and disavow toxic links when necessary.
Build relationships with relevant publications and industry influencers for guest posting opportunities.
Technical SEO
Identify and fix crawl errors, broken links, duplicate content, and indexing issues.
Monitor and improve site architecture and navigation for better crawlability.
Implement schema markup and structured data for rich results.
Work with developers to improve website performance and implement technical changes.
Analytics & Reporting
Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
Track KPIs such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, bounce rate, CTR, and conversion rate.
Prepare monthly SEO performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Use data insights to refine SEO strategy and identify growth opportunities.
Collaboration & Strategy
Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
Collaborate with paid search and social teams to align cross-channel strategies.
Contribute to website redesigns, migration projects, and A/B testing from an SEO perspective.
Key Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.
2–5 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house).
Proven track record of successfully improving SEO performance for websites.
Skills & Tools:
Strong knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
Proficiency in SEO tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, GTmetrix, etc.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Magento, or others.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user experience (UX) principles is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications.
Experience with international SEO and multi-language websites.
Background in content marketing or technical writing.
Understanding of local SEO and GMB optimization.
