Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Lead Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will work within a queue system on rich media requests, building visually stunning and engaging ad units while also collaborating on new ideas and mockups that align with our client services team’s needs. This role is essential in driving revenue opportunities through rich media innovation and supporting ongoing creative service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and execute both standard and custom rich media ad units (banners, interstitials, etc.) for client campaigns, ensuring each unit meets branding guidelines and technical specifications.
Collaborate with the client services team to deliver fresh creative ideas and concepts that align with client goals and campaign strategies.
Explore new creative approaches and emerging technologies to continuously elevate our rich media offerings.
Develop mockups and prototypes to support business development and sales pitches, contributing to ongoing revenue opportunities in both rich media and creative services.
Maintain a high standard of visual design quality across all deliverables, ensuring accuracy, creativity, and brand alignment.
Manage multiple creative requests in a queue, prioritizing projects and meeting deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize ad performance across platforms.
Stay up-to-date on design trends, digital advertising best practices, and rich media technologies to keep the company’s offerings competitive.
Provide creative support and suggestions for additional service areas, enhancing our full-suite creative solutions for clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in digital design, preferably within an advertising or marketing environment.
Strong portfolio showcasing rich media ad designs and other digital creative work.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and experience with rich media platforms (e.g., Google Web Designer, Celtra, Sizmek).
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript as applied to digital ad formats is a plus.
Excellent visual design skills with a strong eye for detail, typography, and color theory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects in a queue, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
