Revit & CAD Architectural Drafter

Join a rapidly growing US firm specialized in As Built Documentation! California-based drafting company looking for a junior architect/drafter For a full-time position.

You will be working on residential & commercial projects referencing a large set of data including 3D scans, field sketches, field measurements, photos, videos, and point cloud files to recreate a building in Revit.

You will proceed to produce accurate, clean, and heavily detailed as-built drawings from the Revit model for architects & interior designers use following our standards.

Paid, fast-paced training is provided for 2 weeks.

**You have the following:**

- This is a remote job so your communication is the top priority constantly providing status update, replying to messages, and attending web meetings.

**Credentials & Experience:**

- +3 years experience in the architecture & construction industry.
- Advanced Revit user, comfortable with the BIM process and understand the workflow.
- Must be familiar with inches & feet (Imperial Units).
- Must have some experience with USA projects.
- Experience in fast-paced work environment that requires handling tight deadlines.
- Experience & knowledge matters more than degree & certification to us.

The following are a bonus and will help you stand out but not required:

- Familiar with using Point Clouds.
- Familiar with creating Revit families.
- Licensed architect.

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

- Study buildings we measure and document
- Create clean, accurate, and detailed as-built models in Revit.
- Create as-built drawings including (floor plans, exterior elevations, roof plans, interior elevations, site plan, sections, reflected ceiling plans, lighting plans, and electrical plans.
- Organize and clean the work in AutoCAD afterwards.
- Follow our standards in Revit, AutoCAD, and Pdf documents.
- Check-in daily with your manager and our project management app to provide updates on your progress
- Watch training material to stay up-to-date with our constantly-updated standards.
- Work with our team members on one or several projects at the same time.
- Review drawings prepared by other team members and esnure they comply with our standards.
