Job Title: Remote Industrial Designer for Custom Commercial Kitchen Utilities

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Industrial Designer to create custom commercial kitchen utilities. Our focus is on designing ergonomic, functional, and durable products made from stainless steel and aluminum, such as thermometer holders, sticky tape dispensers, and custom bottle labels with stickers. The ideal candidate will translate our ideas into detailed designs that can be efficiently manufactured by our partners in China.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to understand the functional requirements and aesthetic vision for each product.
• Create detailed sketches, CAD models, and technical drawings for manufacturing purposes.
• Ensure all designs are optimized for mass production using stainless steel and aluminum materials.
• Research and recommend innovative designs that enhance functionality and usability in commercial kitchen settings.
• Communicate with our manufacturing partners in China to clarify technical specifications and ensure production feasibility.
• Revise designs based on feedback from the team or manufacturers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in industrial design or product design, preferably with commercial kitchen utilities or similar products.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, or Fusion 360).
• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, particularly stainless steel and aluminum.
• Exceptional ability to create designs that balance functionality, durability, and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with the production process in China is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing for commercial kitchen environments.
• Background in creating ergonomic and space-saving designs.
• Knowledge of Chinese manufacturing standards and processes.
