What We’re Looking For:

We need an experienced mid to senior-level full-time Editor & SEO Content Writer! This is a remote (work-from-home) position. We are searching for a meticulous, strategic and creative-driven individual who excels at content editing and writing to join our talented team and elevate our company and clients to the next level.

Responsibilities:

As a Web Content SEO Writer & Editor, you will be instrumental in comprehending the nuances of search engine optimisation and collaborating closely with our content writers and SEO specialists to ensure seamless content optimisation, content writing, content strategy and management. Editing and refining high-quality, SEO-optimised content to ensure grammatical accuracy, readability, and consistency.

This remote role primarily focuses on the content & on-page aspects of SEO, particularly in enhancing visibility on search engines like Google. Your responsibilities will revolve around crafting, developing, managing, optimising, analysing, editing, and implementing content strategies daily. Ensuring all content is 100% original, plagiarism-free, and tailored to the client's audience and goals.

Your writing incorporates marketing in mind and understands AIDA principles, conversion, and engagement style writing. We will require content writing mostly for web service pages & blogging content.

You will ensure precision in execution and work closely with our client manager and other relevant internal teams. Your role will involve bringing your knowledge to the team and addressing inquiries.

Utilising analytical and creative skills, our Editor & SEO Content Writer Specialists serve as the backbone of our team. They are pivotal to the success of our organisation, and we are eager to welcome more exceptional team members who can contribute to our growth and that of our clients!

- You’ll be graded on deliverables and overall SEO performance
- Once you manage a full slate (we have an algorithm to determine a full slate based on the bandwidth taken up by the types of clients on your plate), you can be promoted up to 3 tiers as a specialist.

- Problem-solving: The cardinal sin at our company is asking someone a question you could have solved yourself. We need people willing to “figure it out” and not mind rolling up their sleeves. That doesn’t mean we aren’t here to support you, we are. But only when you encounter a problem that you truly can’t solve. You’re expected to bring more to the table than expected and hurdle problems, not allow them to get in your way.
- Initiative: Motivated by competition and results. You are likely a skilled, pragmatic enforcer whose focus on achievement and success can help those around you accomplish goals. You speak directly and make decisions quickly. You like to explore worthwhile, practical solutions.
- Strategy: Your job is to learn about the client’s business and understand what they sell, who they sell to, etc. Understanding them. Then, alongside the team, guides the client towards strategies that help their campaigns become profitable. If this means they need to change their website, it’s up to you to realise this and recommend it to them. If this means their obsession with getting a low click-through rate or engagement is hurting them because the quality of their website traffic is dropping (and consequently their conversion rates), it’s up to you to educate them on a better metric to base their campaign success on.

What You Should Have:

- At least 3 years of full-time hands-on experience with SEO Content Writing.
- Proven SEO content track record and expertise to deliver outstanding results.
- Fundamental research skills about the topic at hand. Topics are generally not too technical.
- Exceptional editing and proofreading skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive copy tailored to the target audience.
- Must be able to write copy that sells
- Must be able to write copy that is informative but easy to digest and flow makes sense
- Must be able to write copy that is 100% Unique and not plagiarised
- Must be able to write copy free of typos, and grammar errors and be proofed
- Keen sense of problem-solving
- Ability to work well in a team environment and also work efficiently autonomously.
- Perform keyword research, strategising, implementing, writing and optimisation for performance-focused SEO campaigns.
- Experience with AI & automation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Workspace knowledge.
- Holistic solid understanding of Search Engine Marketing and the marketing journey.
- Attitude to self-develop and stay up to date with SEO trends
- Able to adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Australia Campaign / Brand Experience (Not Required But Advantageous).
- Strong English proficiency: Verbal and written
- Willing to work an AU time zone: Mon - Fri AEST Time (8 Hours + 1 Hour Break) - Flexible Start / End Time
- Remote working. This is a remote (work-from-home) position.
- Must be able to do Video Chats: Have access to a desktop, webcam, etc.
- All job offers start with a 90-day probation trial to ensure we’re the right fit for each other.
