Role Overview
We are seeking a Remote 3D Designer & CNC Programmer with expertise in Rhino 3D and RhinoCAM to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in furniture design, digital fabrication, and CNC machining. This role involves translating conceptual designs into precise 3D models, generating toolpaths for CNC production, and optimizing designs for efficient fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed 3D models in Rhino for furniture, architectural elements, and custom fabrication projects.
Generate CNC toolpaths using RhinoCAM, ensuring efficiency and precision in machining.
Optimize designs for digital fabrication, considering material constraints and production techniques.
Collaborate with the team to refine designs based on fabrication feasibility and client feedback.
Prepare technical drawings and production-ready files for CNC routing, laser cutting, and other fabrication methods.
Troubleshoot CNC-related issues and suggest improvements in workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proficiency in Rhino 3D and RhinoCAM (required).
Experience with furniture design and digital fabrication (woodworking, metalworking, etc.).
Strong understanding of CNC machining, toolpath generation, and material properties.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and client specifications.
Experience with parametric design and scripting (Grasshopper) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
