We are a multinational skin and hair care business headquartered in Sydney, Australia. We ship to over 10 countries and aim to grow this number.
The Regulatory Affairs Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with cosmetic product regulations across multiple markets. This position requires a proactive individual who can navigate the complexities of regulatory requirements while supporting product development and market entry.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit regulatory documentation to relevant authorities.
• Monitor and interpret current regulations and guidelines specific to cosmetic products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance in product formulation, labelling, and marketing.
• Maintain organised records of all regulatory submissions, approvals, and communications.
• Conduct regular research on regulatory updates and industry trends.
• Assist in conducting internal audits and supporting inspections related to compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to staff regarding regulatory best practices and changes.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, chemistry, or a related field.
• Proven experience in regulatory affairs, specifically in the cosmetic sector.
• Strong understanding of FDA regulations and EU Cosmetic Regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and work independently.
Preferable Skills/Abilities:
• Advanced degree in a scientific discipline or regulatory affairs.
• Experience with product safety assessments and toxicology.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO standards.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Candidate Criteria:
• Full-time 40 hours per week, remote. Stable internet connection is a must
• Language: excellent English communication skills
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in similar position
• Able to work AEST office hours.
• Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
