We are currently looking for an HR Generalist / Recruiter to play a key role in our talent acquisition efforts. If you have experience recruiting for Virtual Assistant (VA) agencies and excel in sourcing, screening, and onboarding remote professionals, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing methods to attract top virtual assistant talent.
- Actively headhunt and engage with potential candidates using JobStreet, LinkedIn, Indeed, OnlineJobs.ph, and other platforms.
- Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure alignment with client requirements.
- Maintain an efficient hiring pipeline using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager to identify hiring needs and recruitment priorities.
HR Administration & Onboarding
- Handle job postings, applicant tracking, and documentation.
- Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, from contracts to orientation.
- Maintain compliance with HR policies and remote work best practices.
- Assist in payroll coordination, attendance tracking, and benefits administration.
Employee Engagement & Retention
- Act as the primary HR contact for virtual assistants, fostering a positive remote work culture.
- Implement employee engagement strategies to improve retention and satisfaction.
- Address employee concerns, manage conflict resolution, and support performance management.
Recruitment Process Improvement
- Continuously analyze hiring trends to refine recruitment strategies.
- Develop and improve hiring SOPs, ensuring efficiency in sourcing and selection.
- Keep up with industry trends to attract high-calibre talent.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Recruiter, preferably in a Virtual Assistant (VA) agency
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition
- Strong knowledge of remote hiring, applicant tracking, and sourcing techniques
- Experience in headhunting and engaging passive candidates
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), ATS, and recruitment tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setup with minimal supervision
Work Setup & Schedule:
- Hybrid setup (remote with occasional office meetings)
- Australian business hours
