Job Description:
As a Real Estate Research Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research on properties, including land evaluations and obtaining essential property documents. Your role will include skip tracing, tracking properties, and submitting requests through the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) process. You will work closely with our team to ensure all property data is accurate and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research on land and properties, including zoning, ownership, and market data.
Perform skip tracing to locate property owners or stakeholders.
Submit and track FOIL requests to obtain essential property documents and data.
Organize and request relevant property documents from various sources.
Keep trackers and databases up to date with the latest property research and document submissions.
Anticipate project needs by thinking three steps ahead and ensuring timely completion of research.
Collaborate with tea
Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
Provide creative solutions and suggestions based on research insights to support business decisions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in US Real Estate Market
Research, property analysis, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple research tasks simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to think ahead, anticipate challenges, and proactively find solutions.
Knowledge of skip tracing and property document requests is a plus.
Familiarity with FOIL and property tracking tools/systems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the New York real estate market.
Familiarity with local zoning laws, land use, and property databases.
