Job description.
• Journal entries entry in QuickBooks online or Microsoft Business Central, including entry and reconciliation of consultant timesheet
• Managing and generating payroll in Gusto or others payroll software and reconcille payroll in Quickbooks.
• Accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) management
• Bank reconciliations
• Conduct QuickBooks clean up, categorization, audit, and ensure accounting standard are followed
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Windows environment which must include Microsoft office suite
• Analytical and organized with strong oral and writing communications skills in English
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, comparing actual costs to budgeted costs.
• Ensure all financial transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• 2-5 years of experience minimum
• Strong prior experience handling technology consulting sector invoicing, payroll, and general accounting
• Intermediate MS Excel proficiency
• Experience with standard accounting practice and principles
• Experience with popular accounting software like QuickBooks Online
• or Microsoft Business Central a plus
• Experience developing and documenting standards and procedure
• Experience analyzing information
• Accounting and data entry skills
• Ability to deal with complexity
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and thoroughness
• CPA certification or in process of certification
** This a flexible part-time position (hours will fluctuate between 2-4 a day) with potential for full-time over the long term.
