37 Projects is a leading YouTube Video Marketing Agency specializing in high-quality podcast post-production, YouTube Shorts, and long-form video content for health and wellness brands. We are seeking a Quality & Creative Director who will be responsible for ensuring our video content meets the highest creative and technical standards while staying aligned with client branding.
This role combines quality control with creative direction, ensuring that YouTube Shorts, podcast clips, and full-length videos maintain consistency, engagement, and excellence.
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Creative Direction:
- Review YouTube Shorts, Clips, and Full Podcasts before publishing to ensure high quality, engagement, and alignment with brand identity.
- Check captions, animations, B-roll usage, and visual storytelling for accuracy, consistency, and impact.
- Provide detailed feedback to video editors on improvements for cutting, pacing, transitions, effects, and branding.
- Ensure all creative outputs match the brand’s style, tone, and messaging.
Branding & Consistency:
- Establish and maintain creative style guidelines for Shorts and video content based on client branding.
- Ensure that thumbnails, fonts, color grading, and visual elements are cohesive across all video content.
- Work closely with video editors to refine hooks, storytelling, and engagement strategies in Shorts and Clips.
Content Review & Final Approval:
- Conduct final quality checks on all videos before submission to clients.
- Verify that all editing standards are followed (e.g., no spelling errors in captions, smooth transitions, clear audio, and appropriate pacing).
- Ensure YouTube SEO best practices are considered in titles, descriptions, and thumbnail selections.
Collaboration & Team Guidance:
- Work alongside video editors, content managers, and project managers to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Train video editors on brand consistency, creative trends, and quality improvements.
- Stay updated with YouTube's video trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to optimize content strategy.
Requirements:
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Creative Director, Video Quality Reviewer, or Senior Video Editor in a YouTube or content marketing agency.
- Strong eye for branding, storytelling, and creative direction in video content.
- Deep understanding of YouTube Shorts, Clips, and long-form podcast content.
- Experience in video editing, motion graphics, and AI-based editing tools.
- Knowledge of YouTube SEO, engagement strategies, and audience retention techniques.
Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.
- Familiarity with AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Claude), Slack, Notion, and Google Workspace.
- Experience with VidIQ, SEMrush, or other YouTube growth tools is a plus.
Work Setup & Availability:
- Fully remote position; must have a high-performance laptop/PC and stable internet.
- Available to work full-time with no other commitments.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple client brands simultaneously.
