QA Software Tester

Job Title: Senior QA Tester (Angular/.NET Project) – Mostly Remote
Location: Must be able to travel to Manilia 1-4 times a year

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Tester to join our team and contribute to the quality assurance of our Angular/.NET-based project. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in QA testing, with a strong focus on writing and executing Selenium test cases. Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus. This role is based in Manila or nearby areas, and is mostly remote, with only a couple of onsite meetings required per year.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and execute Selenium-based automated test cases for our Angular/.NET application.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, ensuring timely resolution.
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps.
Mentor and guide junior QA team members, sharing best practices and improving overall QA processes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest QA tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve testing processes.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing.
Strong proficiency in Selenium for writing and executing automated test cases.
Experience testing Angular-based front-end applications and .NET-based back-end systems.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with Azure DevOps for test management, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Based in Manila or nearby areas and available for occasional onsite meetings (a couple of times per year).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other testing frameworks/tools (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, Jasmine, Karma).
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
