Public Relations Writer

Web Moves, a US-based boutique digital marketing agency, is seeking to hire a part-time PR writer or ghostwriter (with top level English writing proficiency) who can write pitches and informative memos on behalf of our clients who are experts in their respective fields.

You will thrive in this role if you can strategically think + write in a company/client’s best interests. Perhaps you enjoy seeing things from different perspectives or exposing yourself to new information/knowledge on a regular basis–if so, you’ll love this role.

If you like to read and learn new things, this is a GREAT role for you. This role, unlike many others, has an easily measurable metric. Your work either leads to coverage or it does not. We consider nearly all coverage gained to be positive performance, which eliminates uncertainty about performance and makes it easy for you to navigate the working relationship.

-Medical writing (blog, research, reports, etc)
-PR pitching

-HARO, Qwoted, Terkel, Featured, Source Bottle, and similar platforms

Requirements:
-Mastery of written English (No AI tools)
-Daily availability minimum 4 days a week Monday-Thursday with partial US Eastern Time working hours
-Skype account and regular check-ins via Skype chat
-Ability to research, read, and learn new info without the use of AI tools
-Self-starter and reliable work ethic
-Personal computer and internet access
-Ability to work and deliver under time constraints/due dates
-Ability to submit a bi-weekly or monthly invoice accurately reflecting your work/deliverables in order to receive payment

-You use or need AI to generate content /ideas for you. We have sophisticated detection methodologies at our disposal that will disqualify applicants relying on AI.

-You aren’t able to set your own requirements/deadlines/routines to succeed. We keep things flexible out of respect for our team members. You will not be micro-managed in this role.

-You aren’t comfortable with constructive feedback/learning new things. Our team strives to deliver the highest quality service possible to clients, so we collectively share ideas and feedback with each other.

-You’re not interested in a long-term working relationship and career growth. This isn’t a gig opportunity–we want to work with people who can work their way into leadership roles long-term and succeed. This starts as part time and can easily evolve into full time, salary, or more.

Compensation:
We are flexible with how we compensate you, but any payment scheme will ultimately depend on performance and deliverables. Please share your expected hourly rate or per-word written rate. We can also discuss salary and bonus structures if you are prepared to propose clear deliverables.
