JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Property Management Assistant to join our team. The
ideal candidate will assist in managing tenant relations, coordinating property-related processes, and
ensuring smooth operations in property management. The role requires experience in Rent Manager
and Upgrade to see actual info and involves administrative, financial, and customer service tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Management:
• Handle tenant intake processes, ensuring all required documentation is complete.
• Facilitate post-move-in procedures, including coordinating with relevant teams.
• Screen prospective tenants for eligibility and suitability.
• Schedule property showings for potential tenants.
• Prepare and manage paperwork, including contracts and agreements, particularly for Section 8
tenants.
• Ensure compliance with insurance and policy requirements for tenants and properties.
Financial Management:
• Oversee rent collection, sending reminders and follow-ups for overdue payments.
• Prepare and manage invoices and estimates related to property operations.
Maintenance Coordination:
• Handle incoming maintenance calls, assess tenant needs, and coordinate with vendors or
contractors for timely resolutions.
Tools and Software:
• Utilize Rent Manager to track tenant records, rent payments, maintenance requests, and other
property-related activities.
• Leverage Upgrade to see actual info to manage and organize tasks, schedules, and project timelines.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in property management or a related field.
• Proficiency in Rent Manager and Upgrade to see actual info.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations and policies is a plus.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with tenant screening processes and legal contract preparation.
• Experience managing insurance and policy compliance for properties.
