Work Setup: Remote
Working Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time

Summary:
A Project Technician is responsible for deploying and providing partner support for our client’s products and services. This includes familiarity with servers, workstation, networking, access control, conference room, VoIP, video monitoring and wireless hardware and various software systems. Additional products include our backup and disaster recovery appliance, security management, and a host of other third-party products delivered through vendor partnerships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Technician, under the supervision of the Project Manager, will respond to and resolve project, implementation and support tickets for our Products and Services. This includes a wide range of issues and requires general and specific technical expertise in many areas including: server and workstation hardware, RAID configuration, setup and troubleshooting, Operating System installation and setup, backup and disaster recovery support (using our BDR solution), virtualization using Hyper-V Server, Firewall troubleshooting and other technical support and service issues including troubleshooting general issues regarding third party products offered through our Managed Services.
• Respond to and resolve project, implementation and support tickets for our Products and
• Services.
• Research, provide feedback, and work with professional services and other leadership to help develop process or roll out new technology.
• Document various policies, procedures, and technologies.
• Train teaUpgrade to see actual infombers as needed on various technologies and policies

A typical day can vary widely with a host of issues from simple to complex. The ability to prioritize activities, multi-task and effectively manage multiple client requests is essential. The Project TechnicianII will report directly to the Project Manager for scheduling, performance, and process management.

Requirements

• Ability to routinely manage multiple tasks and reassign priorities.
• Able to work on actively supported desktop operating systems (Windows/MacOS).
• Understanding of VLANs, routing, firewall rules, TCP/IP, WiFi, etc.
• VoIP expierence.
• Office 365 and Intune management knowledge required.
• Problem-solving abilities and able to meet reasonable deadlines.
• Experience of working in PSA software such as Managed Engine, Halo, and the likes.
• Experience of working in RMM software such as Ninja, N-able, and the likes.
• Powershell scripting experience.
• Always learning, training, and continuing education.
• Sense of humor.
• 3 years of technical support in computer services
