JOB DESCRIPTION : Bluebird Lighting seeks a motivated, experienced project manager to join our team. As a project manager, you will be crucial in the end-to-end management, planning, execution, and successful completion of our projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. End-to-end management of domestic and import projects: Overseeing orders from request for quotations to project closeout
- Quotation, Invoice, and purchase order preparation: Build the formal documentation with all of the specified or otherwise noted details
- Factory Communication:
> Provide the factories with the client specifications, quantities, and additional details [e.g., ocean-front property] to ensure that our pricing matches the client's needs.
> Review and ensure that the pricing and production methods are aligned with the client’s budget and design requirements
> Manage follow-ups to ensure timely submission to our clients
- Production and Quality Control monitoring and reviews
> Work with factories to create and update shop drawings and to develop the required finish samples
> Ensure final shop drawings and finish samples have final approvals before production
> Stay ahead of potential delays by closely monitoring the progress of production and strategizing the best approach with the team
> Conduct quality control reviews of products, packaging, and cargo before items are shipped out
> Plan and arrange shipment per project
- Communication and stakeholder engagement :
> Effectively communicate with manufacturing partners, sales teams, and end customers
> Provide regular project status and updates

2. Documentation & Recordkeeping:
- Save all relevant documentation and project milestones in the appropriate folders or internal systems.
- Create and update company records in the CRM

3. Project Tracking: Ensure that all projects are on track through timely updating of respective trackers and weekly status reports
- Organize finish samples, item specs, materials, deposits, and approvals per project.
- Update and record timelines, shop drawings & finish sample submittals and approvals in our project tracker

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
At least 1+ years experience in project management, construction, manufacturing or product development
Bachelor’s degree required (Masters in Engineering or Architecture is a plus)
Experience reading technical drawings
Ability to work full time, with occasional flexed hours
Computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, CRM [CAD is a plus!]
Ability to effectively complete multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and consistently meet deadlines
Works well in a high-growth, ever-changing environment with minimal supervision
Team-oriented, effective collaborator
Strong written and verbal communication
Solutions-oriented mindset; communicating problems and possible solutions in real-time with manager, internal and external partners
