JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview: The Project Analyst Intern will be integral in supporting all stages of the development projects, from conception through to completion, with a focus on affordable housing and mixed-use devel-opment. The ideal candidate will immerse themselves in learning the multifaceted aspects of community development, and affordable housing real estate projects, ensuring they support the project’s advancement while also gaining crucial industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Support:
Assist in coordinating and managing all phases of project development including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
Facilitate and attend project meetings, compile notes, and assist in developing and monitoring project timelines and milestones.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Perform data analysis related to project performance, timeline adherence, and budget compliance.
Assist in preparing project reports, findings, and insights to facilitate strategic decisions.
Communication:
Ensure efficient and clear communication across all levels of the project team, stakeholders, and external vendors.
Assist in the development and delivery of project presentations and updates to stakeholders.

Administrative Support:
Research new programs, financing tools
Schedule meetings with internal and external stakeholders and consultants and partners
Help organize, schedule, and maintain documentation of project activities and correspondences.
Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial documentation.
Learning and Development:
Actively engage in learning and development opportunities provided during the internship.
Receive mentoring and feedback to hone skills in project management, organizational development, and strategic analysis.

Qualifications:
Education: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or a recent graduate in Business, Real Estate, Urban Planning, Law, Accounting, Construction Management Project Management or a related field of commercial real estate development and financial analysis.
 
Skills:
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational: Robust organizational and multitasking capabilities.
Analytical: Ability to analyze data and trends to inform project direction.
Technical Knowledge:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, etc.).

Self-starter: Ability to take initiative and navigate tasks with minimal supervision.
Team Player: A keen collaborator who can work effectively within a diverse team.
