Are you the type who loves to negotiate a killer deal and can spot the best suppliers faster than glue dries? If so, you might be the seasoned Procurement Specialist we’re looking for! You’ll dive into the exciting world of e-commerce procurement, sourcing top-quality products, managing inventory with ninja-like precision, and ensuring our products hit the shelves (or screens) right on time—every time. Get ready to flex those supplier negotiation muscles and make a real impact on our fast-growing company.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
- Negotiate and secure favorable pricing and terms on existing and new contracts.
- Manage purchase orders, requisitions, and invoices.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize costs and inventory levels.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for product sourcing and cost savings.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and communicate effectively to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement preventative measures to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Manage a budget and track spending against purchase orders.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in procurement and e-commerce.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve purchasing processes and efficiency.
- Take charge of quality control, particularly for product labels to ensure adherence to standards.
- Decrease costs and gain leverage in supplier negotiations to maximize savings and quality, particularly with key vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or International Trade (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of international procurement experience, with a strong focus on e-commerce and global supplier management.
- Proven track record of negotiating and securing favorable supplier contracts with global vendors.
- Strong understanding of global logistics, cross-border shipping, and customs requirements.
- Proficiency in using report generation tools like PowerBi, Tableau, or other data visualization tools to track and analyze international procurement performance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and regions.
- Experience with global e-commerce platforms and international marketplaces.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team, managing tasks across different time zones.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, global procurement environment.
Schedule:
- Fully Remote
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift - Pacific Standard Time
Salary:
- Candidate will start at $5/hr
