Print On Demand Graphic Designer Illustrator Needed for Custom Photo Upload Product

We’re looking for a creative, reliable illustrator to help us turn customer upload photos into unique, high-quality illustrated designs that will be printed on our blankets. Unlike woven blankets, our supplier uses HD printing (like canvas wall art), which allows for vibrant, detailed illustrations with accurate color matching. This means we can go beyond basic photo prints with more complex designs that print out beautifully. Our blanket is 50x60 inches so it's super big and perfect to showcase an amazing truly unique gift/design of their own photos — and that’s where you come in.

Your Role:
1) Brainstorm Design Concepts
Help us come up with fun, jaw-dropping viral-ready design concepts:
- Turn couples into Simpsons-style characters
- Families as Bob’s Burgers cartoon characters
- Kids turned into superheroes or fairies
- Pets turned into chefs, kings, astronauts, or vintage portraits
- Couples riding dinosaurs, dancing in space, or chilling on a custom illustrated beach
- Or even using AI to generate ultra realistic UHD images of customers in any scene
- The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

2) Create Print-Ready Files:
Once orders come in for your design concept, we'll send you the photos from the customer:
- Transform it into a clean, high-res design
- Deliver final print ready file back to us for production (we’ll provide specs)

What We’re Looking For:
- Strong illustration skills with a cartoon or caricature style or AI generated style
- Experience creating high-res artwork for print (especially large formats like blankets or posters)
- Ability to match or develop distinct art styles (e.g., Simpsons, Pixar-like, anime, etc without copyright infringement)
- Fast turnaround time (1-3 Days)
- Creative thinker — bonus if you can suggest new design packs/themes!

Bonus skill: If you use AI tools to speed up your process (e.g., for base sketches or reference generation) — even better! We're open to hybrid workflows as long as the end result is high quality and print-ready.

Tools You Use:
- Your preferred editor (must export high-res layered files)
- Drawing tablet or iPad preferred for freehand illustration (but not required)

Compensation:
This role is part-time (20 hours per week) and starts with a base pay of $500/month (PHP ~28,600) for consistent weekly availability and fast turnaround times. As order volume increases, you’ll also be paid a bonus per print ready file you deliver on top of your base — meaning the faster you work, the more you earn. This hybrid model is designed to offer stability while also incentivizing performance and creative output. Ideal for professionals who can work efficiently and want long-term, scalable income with a growing brand. We’re building a system where you can grow with us: stability + scalable income, backed by a strong marketing team that knows how to drive viral demand leading to more orders and bonus income for you. This role can also be moved to a full time position with double the base pay $1,000/mo (PHP ~57,200) + per file received bonus for candidates that provide design concepts that our customers really love ordering.

How to Apply:
To be considered, you must either:

1) Submit at least one original design concept that reflects your illustration style for a customer upload picture — ideally based on a theme like Simpsons-style, pet in costume, or fantasy illustration. If you’ve already created something similar, feel free to attach it.

2) Write a short paragraph explaining your concept ideas — what kinds of designs you’d like to create, and how you would execute them in your style (tools, process, etc.).

Note: Only candidates who either upload a concept or provide a thoughtful explanation of their creative direction will be invited to interviews. Failure to meet at least one of these means your application will not be reviewed for the next step in our interview process.
