Podcast producer

You will produce podcasts for our clients at Upgrade to see actual info where we help podcasters launch and grow their show. This means you'll do the following activities on a weekly basis:

- Editing the podcaster's audio file into a fully polished final version
- Adding in extra pieces of audio such as intros, music, ads
- Uploading the podcast so that it releases on streaming platforms
- Creating descriptions and thumbnails for the episodes
- Clearly communicating with clients and the team over Slack and occasionally Zoom

You will be using Descript as the tool to edit podcasts, so only apply if you are open to learning this software extremely in-depth.

You will be paid $100 per client per month and current podcast producers at this company are producing shows for about 5 clients at once, meaning $500/mo. On average, each client would require 3 hours of work from you per week.

Traits & skills needed for this role:

Mandatory:

- Interest in podcasting
- Experience as an audio editor
- Reliable
- Organised
- Attention to detail
- Fluency in English

Not necessary but preferred:

- Experience with Descript
- Experience with podcasting
- Experience with video editing
- Experience in any form of audio engineering
