My name is Eric Tivers, and I’m the host of the ADHD reWired podcast. I’ve been running this podcast for over 10 years, with over 7 million downloads, and has been recognized as a top ADHD podcast for many years. Due to some business challenges, back in April, I had to let my team go, which included my podcast editor/producer and I’m looking to hire an experienced editor/producer to join the team.
Here’s a little more about what I’m looking for:
Editing Style: Clean, engaging, and focused on enhancing clarity while maintaining a conversational tone. I'm looking for someone who can identify the best parts of the conversation, and cut the less engaging parts.
Skills Needed: Audio editing (cleaning up recordings, balancing levels), adding intro/outro music, ads, and basic sound design.
Production: Helping with scheduling episodes, adding show notes, creating episode artwork, and uploading to Libsyn, and my Wordpress site.
Software: Familiarity with tools like Adobe Audition, Canva, Wordpress.
Since I work with a lot of ADHD-related content, it’s important to me that the editor understands the nuances of the ADHD community, or is at least open to learning more about it.
If you’re interested in the position, I’d love to discuss how we could work together. Please let me know your availability for a brief chat. If you have a calendar link like Calendly, please send that in your reply.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a podcast editor and/or producer.
Strong skills in audio editing software (such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar).
A good ear for storytelling and the ability to make editorial decisions.
Ability to write concise, engaging show notes.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to meet deadlines consistently.
Familiarity with ADHD, mental health topics, or an interest in neurodiversity is a plus.
Any offer will begin on a trial basis.
