Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage our payroll processes accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure that employees are paid on time and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for all employees.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates.
Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams to ensure seamless payroll integration.
Stay updated on payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
Proficiency in payroll software ([Insert software name, if applicable]) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance standards.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in payroll (e.g., PCP, CPM) is a plus.
Experience with hospital payroll.
