We’re Looking for a Detail-Oriented Bookkeeper!

What You’ll Be Doing
? Financial Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
???? Transaction Processing

Accurately record transactions—payments, invoices, and payroll—on time!
???? GST and BAS Compliance

Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and ensure GST compliance.
???? Reconciliation

Reconcile bank and credit card statements, ensuring everything adds up.
???? Financial Reporting

Assist in preparing reports for management and tax purposes.
???? Tax Filing

Handle tax preparation and filing, ensuring full compliance with Australian tax regulations (including PAYG, GST, and Income Tax).
???? End-of-Month/Year Procedures

Support in month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure all data is prepared for audit.
???? Client Communication

Address client inquiries and communicate transparently regarding any discrepancies or financial updates.
???? Payroll Processing

Oversee payroll, ensuring superannuation, PAYG tax, and other deductions are processed accurately and on time.
What We Need From You

? Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with a solid understanding of Australian accounting practices and tax regulations.
? Experience with payroll processing (superannuation, PAYG tax, deductions).
? Proficiency in accounting software like Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks.
? Familiarity with BAS and GST requirements.
? Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
? Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
? Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
? Payroll qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Payroll Administration) are a bonus!

???? Timeliness: Ensure all reports and filings are completed on time (by the 5th business day of each month).
